Refund & Cancellation Policy

JRP Labs LLC sells professional services and digital deliverables. Nothing is shipped physically, so there is no shipping or returns process. This page explains how delivery, cancellation, and refunds work. All amounts are in US dollars (USD).
How work is delivered
- All deliverables are digital: websites, web applications, code, designs, documentation, and configured accounts.
- You receive a private preview link while work is in progress, and the finished work is launched on your domain or transferred to accounts you own once the final payment clears.
- Typical timelines: 1 to 3 weeks for a website, 4 to 12 weeks for a web application. Your proposal states the estimate for your project.
Fixed-price projects

| Before any work has started | Your deposit is refunded in full, minus any third-party costs we have already paid on your behalf (for example a domain or a theme licence). |
| After work has started | You pay for the work completed to date, calculated at our hourly rate of $95 USD per hour or by the proportion of milestones finished, whichever is lower. Any remaining deposit is refunded. Any shortfall is invoiced. |
| After a phase has been approved | Approved phases are not refundable. Work completed is handed over as-is. |
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of the cancellation being agreed in writing.
Care plans (monthly)
- Care plans renew automatically every month and can be cancelled at any time by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month.
- Fees already paid for the current month are not refunded, and unused monthly change allowance does not roll over.
- If we cancel a care plan for any reason other than non-payment or misuse, we refund the unused portion of the current month.
- When a plan ends we hand over hosting access and a final backup so your site keeps running under your own control.
Hourly work
Hourly work is billed in 15-minute increments for time actually spent, and is not refundable once the time has been worked. You can stop hourly work at any time by telling us in writing; you are only billed for time up to that point.
If something is wrong with the work
If a deliverable does not match the written scope, tell us within 30 days of launch and we will fix it at no cost. If we cannot fix a genuine defect in a reasonable time, we will refund the portion of the fee for that deliverable. We would much rather make it right than argue about it: email us first.
Disputes and chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank or card issuer. Most issues can be resolved within a day or two by email, and we keep records of proposals, approvals, and delivered work for every project.
